ITU AbsorbTech Recognized by the Wisconsin Association of School Boards Business Honor Roll
We are thrilled to announce that the Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) Business Honor Roll has recognized ITU AbsorbTech for working with and supporting local area schools through LAUNCH.
LAUNCH is an immersive high school program that affords Elmbrook students the opportunity to work closely with local industry partners to bring skills they’re learning in the classroom and turn them into real-world experiences.
As a corporate LAUNCH partner for several years, ITU AbsorbTech has provided mentorship, authentic projects, and access to its industry professionals.
A WASB representative said, “Jim Leef’s extensive experience and connections with IBAW members in our region has strengthened our outreach efforts and educational programs. By doing so, he has bolstered LAUNCH’s reputation as a transformative platform for aspiring leaders.”
At ITU AbsorbTech, our mission extends beyond sustainable solutions; we also want to empower the next generation. We are honored to have been recognized for contributing to this year’s LAUNCH program and look forward to participating in future initiatives.
A recent LAUNCH project for ITU AbsorbTech was creating a facility video tour to showcase at ITU AbsorbTech’s 50th Anniversary facility celebration. Students had the opportunity to utilize professional-grade equipment, talk with key leaders in the company, and create a video tour.
