The recognition is part of ATD’s annual Employee Learning Week, which highlights organizations that prioritize development and create meaningful opportunities for employees to learn and grow.
Continuous learning and development is built into how we operate and how employees move forward in their careers.
Throughout 2025, we expanded structured development opportunities across all levels of the organization. Programs like Career Connections help employees identify their interests, set goals, and create a clear path for growth within the company.
“Career Connections is an outstanding program that truly prioritizes individual growth,” said one of the employees in the program. “I love crafting personalized goals with employees on my team. It gives them a clearer purpose, sharper focus on their responsibilities, and a concrete roadmap to the next level. Now that I’ve joined as a participant myself, I see even more clearly the profound, lasting impact it has on everyone involved.”
Learning takes place in many different forms at ITU AbsorbTech, including bi-annual sales meetings, more than 2,900 safety trainings completed last year, quarterly financial education sessions, AbsorbU training programs, mentoring, tuition assistance program, and more.
“When you invest in development and growth opportunities, employees feel valued and that directly impacts performance and retention,” said Lindsay Skatrud, Organizational Development Manager at ITU AbsorbTech. “People here are growing. They’re building careers. And they’re doing it in a place that’s willing to invest in them.”
