ITU AbsorbTech named a 2021 Top Workplace by Journal Sentinel

“We are thrilled to be selected a Top Workplace again and congratulate all the other winning companies,” says David Leef, executive vice president and chief operating officer of ITU AbsorbTech.
The Top Workplaces program is southeast Wisconsin’s most prestigious recognition of the region’s best employers. It recognizes the businesses and organizations that, according to their own employees, offer the flexibility, training, and support those workers need to get ahead.
“Our family has always worked to provide a safe, caring, and rewarding work environment to all employees,” says Leef.
ITU AbsorbTech was evaluated based on a comprehensive survey conducted by a third-party research company. Companies were measured on qualities such as company leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation, benefits, and the impact company policies have on innovation and morale.
This award speaks to the strong culture present at the company and unified commitment to teamwork, safety, sustainability, and personal growth and development. ITU AbsorbTech believes strongly in hiring exceptional people and investing heavily in their success. The business succeeds as a result.
“In this especially challenging year, we sought to address the monetary, health, emotional, and spiritual needs of our people,” says Jim Leef, president and CEO of ITU AbsorbTech. “Our people showed tremendous character under stress levels I hope we never see again, and for that I am extremely grateful.”
ITU AbsorbTech is a family-owned and operated environmental service company dedicated to helping companies maintain cleaner, safer, and more sustainable operations. The company has been in operation since 1930 and has 12 locations throughout the US.
