Last 5 times longer than disposables

Akebono manufactures brakes and has machines the leak fluids such as coolant and hydraulic oils, constantly. We were using gray disposable absorbents in which were costly for purchasing and disposing of. In addition, the disposables were left all over the ground and underneath machines. In August we switched from disposables to reusable absorbents from ITU AbsorbTech. Our goal was to eliminate waste and oil from landfills. We were able to achieve that goal and continue achieving the goal with approximately 10,000 gallons of oil eliminated from landfilling. It is a convenience to our associates and the absorbents last 5 times longer than disposables.
