Team Play is one of ITU AbsorbTech’s core business tenets. The company defines Team Play as working together with co-workers, customers, and suppliers to accomplish exceptional results.

It’s also a core class in ITU AbsorbTech’s Genuine Service Excellence training.

Barb Robers, ITU AbsorbTech’s company’s Organizational Development Manager, just rolled out a newly enhanced class and is in the process of conducting sessions throughout the company.

“Team Play enables employees to interact with co-workers throughout the company. It increases motivation, encourages collaboration, and builds trust within our teams. The result is increased productivity and better business outcomes,” says Robers.

Just last week, 50+ participants from throughout the company met at WhirlyBall Brookfield Square to learn how to work together to accomplish exceptional results.

The team participated in interactive, team-oriented activities and learned some great tips on communicating effectively with different DISC profiles.

Team Play will continue to be a core class in AbsorbU, ITU AbsorbTech’s award-winning internal training program, as new employees complete the training and existing employees get recertified.
