June 2, 2025 – ITU AbsorbTech is proud to announce its continued recognition on the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) Significant Industrial User Honor Roll—an acknowledgment of our consistent environmental compliance and commitment to responsible operations.
This honor reflects our ongoing efforts to meet all regulatory requirements that protect local water resources and support the long-term health of the communities we serve. It also speaks directly to one of our core Business Tenants: We are committed to environmental stewardship. This recognition demonstrates how we put that commitment into practice.
MMSD created the Industrial User Honor Roll to recognize companies that achieve full compliance with environmental regulations while contributing to the region’s economic vitality. We’re honored to be included alongside other businesses that take environmental responsibility seriously.
A key part of our compliance strategy includes the use of a Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system, which removes oils and other materials from wastewater before it’s discharged. This system helps us meet regulatory standards and minimize our environmental impact.
Being named to the MMSD Honor Roll reinforces our continued focus on protecting vital resources like Lake Michigan. We appreciate the recognition and remain committed to operating with integrity, accountability, and environmental awareness.
