ITU AbsorbTech Opens its Newest Service Center in Tennessee

(Winchester, TN) – ITU AbsorbTech, a family-owned environmental service company headquartered in New Berlin, WI, has opened a new Service Center to expand its regional service coverage.

Located at 110 Wilton Circle, Winchester, TN, the new Service Center will allow ITU AbsorbTech to deliver its environmentally preferred reuse services to more manufacturers and printers in Tennessee and the surrounding area.

ITU AbsorbTech offers SorbIts®, a family of launderable reusable oil absorbents for non-hazardous industrial fluids; Ultra™ Shop Towels; and Ultra™ Printer Towels as zero-waste alternatives to single-use disposable products that would otherwise end up in landfills.

ITU AbsorbTech’s managed service programs include professional laundering, delivery of clean products to point-of-use stations, inventory management, and end-user training.  Customers also have access to unique online reporting of product usage, program cost history, solid waste reduction, and solvent recovery volumes.

A typical manufacturer will eliminate upwards of 5,000 lbs. of solid waste annually with ITU AbsorbTech’s shop towel and oil absorbent reuse services. Commercial printers will experience approximately 220 gallons of recovered solvent annually from their print towels.

“We are growing rapidly in central Tennessee and this facility gets us a lot closer to all of our customers,” explained Leef. “We’re excited that we can now deliver our environmentally preferred services to even more customers in the area.”
