ITU AbsorbTech Named 2024 ATD Champion of Learning

We’re proud to share that ITU AbsorbTech has been named a 2024 Champion of Learning by the Association for Talent Development (ATD).

Whether it’s developing new skills, advancing careers, or building financial confidence, learning is built into the way we work.

Supporting Growth Across the Business

Throughout 2024, we continued to expand opportunities for learning and development. During Employee Learning Week, we highlighted key initiatives that support our business tenets—from safety and service to sustainability and continuous improvement.

Career Connections:

Our Career Connections program supports employees in setting personal goals and building professional skills. Some participants pursue new roles, others focus on growing in their current one, and many take part to learn more about the company.

The program is completely optional and tailored to individual interests. It continues to play a key role in internal promotions and employee engagement.

Financial Education:

Financial wellness is an important part of overall well-being. This year, we held financial awareness sessions covering topics like retirement planning and choosing beneficiaries.

These sessions helped employees feel more confident about their financial futures, and we’ve seen greater participation in programs like our 401(k) plan as a result.

Safety Education:

At ITU AbsorbTech, safety is always a priority. Through AbsorbU, our learning platform, employees completed thousands of safety trainings in 2024.

One area of focus was training and certifying more team members to safely operate powered industrial equipment. This not only improves safety but also supports efficiency and reduces physical strain on the job.

Learning that Lasts

One of our core Business Tenets is to hire great people and invest in their growth. That’s what our learning culture is all about—giving employees the tools to succeed, both on and off the job.
